It’s happening. Crop tops are returning from hibernation, sun-deprived skin is coming up for air and we’re all feeling a little less miserable on our morning commutes. Spring is here. To help you prepare, we turned to five Chicago fashion bloggers and asked them to put together their ideal spring looks, the outfits that take them from work to rooftop happy hour faster than you can say “floral print.” Then we planted them in the springiest place we could find—Macy’s annual Flower Show. Amongst the blooms and greenery, we picked their brains about funky Instagram backdrops, loosening up in front of the camera, cocktail bars and more. Read Full Article Here!
Nike is killing it lately. I can’t go downtown without heading into Nike Town. It’s not just athletic wear anymore. I legit find clothes to wear out on weekend nights now. Nike has truly transformed into a lifestyle for me. Not a day goes by where I am not wearing at least one thing from Nike. Still super chilly as I head out for my Sunday run, I throw on my Nike olive pull-over and running joggers. I think I was asked twice on my run where I got it. Reassurance enough in my book that Nike is killing it in the style game.

Ever since I’ve gotten more and more into fitness, my wardrobe has slowly changed along with it. Business casual is now chinos and a new pair of Nike sneakers and I’m okay with it. It’s easy – but looks put together. For someone that works out in the morning, outfits I can easily transition from the gym to work in are ideal. This outfit represents that perfectly. This H&M sweater is easily thrown over a gym shirt to keep me warm on my commute. The ZARA chinos easily go over my gym shorts as well. Packing only one pair of shoes is the best part of all. No more big bulky gym bags weighing me down.

I always feel most at peace when I am on a hike. Doesn’t have to be an expert hike – just getting out for a bit on my own in the woods is all I need to feel completely at peace. Away from sounds or distractions just me and nature. Lucky for me there is plenty of hiking within a reasonable distance – some right along the lake. Since the winter has been extremely warm, I have been taking full advantage by wearing some of my heavier shirts. This Altamont Crew Neck fleece is extremely durable so a hike through the woods was not a problem. I highly recommend checking these guys out if you like a sophisticated laid-back look that anyone could pull off.
